Microneedling is one of the most reliable treatments for improving skin texture, and pairing it with exosomes takes the results further. At Omorphia we use a CE-marked, medical-grade device (the iMEDPEN), and exosomes are available as an add-on. Here is what the treatment does and what to expect.

How microneedling works

Microneedling creates a controlled series of tiny channels in the skin. These trigger your body’s natural repair response, which ramps up collagen and elastin production over the following weeks. The result is smoother texture, refined pores and a fresher overall surface. Because it uses your own healing process, the improvement looks and feels natural.

What it can help with

  • Acne scarring and uneven texture
  • Enlarged pores
  • Fine lines
  • Stretch marks
  • Dullness and mild pigmentation

It is a versatile, skin-first treatment that works for a wide range of concerns, which is why it sits at a sensible entry price on our menu.

Why add exosomes?

Exosomes are tiny messengers that support cell communication and skin repair. Applied straight after microneedling, while those micro-channels are open, they help calm the skin and amplify the collagen response. In practice that can mean faster healing and a more pronounced result from each session. They are an optional enhancement, not a requirement, and we will only suggest them if they genuinely add something for your skin.

A course, not a single session

Texture and scarring respond best to a course of treatments rather than a one-off. We will plan the number of sessions around your skin and your goals at consultation, and we will be straight with you about what is achievable in your timeframe.

Downtime and aftercare

Expect some redness, a little like mild sunburn, usually settling within around 24 hours. Aftercare is simple but important: keep the skin clean, avoid heavy actives for a few days, and wear a daily SPF without fail. Any treatment that resurfaces the skin makes it more sun-sensitive, so sun protection is part of the treatment, not an optional extra.

If you want smoother, fresher skin, book a consultation at our Battersea clinic (inside Battersea Park Dental, SW11) and we will talk through whether microneedling, with or without exosomes, is the right starting point. Learn more about microneedling or book your consultation.
